Zion Yoga
Retreat
Springdale, Utah
April 30 - May 3, 2026
Sacred Ground, Ancient Wisdom.
Our retreat unfolds on land within Zion National Park that holds deep cultural significance, with traces of indigenous presence spanning over 12,000 years. The property, known as True North, still holds traces of their presence—petroglyphs carved into stone and pottery fragments buried in desert sand, reminders that this place has always been a sanctuary.
Perched a mile high on a secluded 10-acre mesa, True North offers complete immersion in Zion’s breathtaking wilderness. This environmentally-conscious retreat center sits in perfect solitude - with the national park and its wildlife as your only neighbors - providing unparalleled views of iconic formations like Tabernacle Dome, Lamb’s Knoll, and Cave Valley.
For nearly two decades, Hank and Mariangela have lovingly cared for this extraordinary refuge, welcoming thousands who come seeking deeper connection with themselves and the natural world. The property itself becomes part of your healing journey. Wander contemplative walking paths that lead to hidden meditation spots, hammocks for afternoon rest, and a sacred Medicine Wheel. Discover nearby caves adorned with ancient petroglyphs, or simply find your perfect perch on the cliffside overlooking Smith Mesa and beyond.
Under star-filled skies at 6,000 feet elevation - far from any artificial light - you’ll experience the cosmos as our ancestors did. The fragrant high desert comes alive with wildflowers and sagebrush, while deer and elk move freely through this pristine landscape of cedar, pinon, and ponderosa pines.
With intimate access to world-renowned Zion trails right from your doorstep, plus three patios for yoga practice, this unique sanctuary offers the perfect blend of adventure and tranquility. Here, surrounded by red rock monuments and vast meadows, your transformation unfolds naturally in one of Earth’s most sacred settings.
Your Days Will Flow Between Movement and Stillness.
Each morning, awaken your body with energizing vinyasa yoga as the sun paints Zion’s towers in golden light. Adventures through rugged beauty (hiking, rappelling, swimming in the river) call to your wild spirit, while evening yin and restorative practices soften what the day has stirred.
Sacred rituals weave through your experience: ceremonial cacao to open your heart, ecstatic dance to free your spirit, guided meditations, sound baths, and a full moon ceremony. Evening conversations around the fire create space for connection and growth, with all meals lovingly prepared by our chef so you can focus on your experience.
At the heart of it all lives authentic connection—with the land, with kindred spirits, and with the truest version of yourself. Come solo or with a friend. All practices and excursions are optional, allowing you to curate an experience that honors exactly what your soul is calling for.
This is where your komorebi moment begins—in the dappled light of ancient canyons, surrounded by souls who understand your hunger for depth.
